When connecting up the piping, ensure that no foreign matter such as chips, sealing compound, scale, etc. enters the
piping system, since this may cause malfunctions. The pipes should be as short as possible and pipe bends should be
used instead of pipe angles. The port size of the pressure reducing valve, filter and lubricator must be the same as the
supply port ‘P’ of the press safety valve.
The operating pressure in the valve must never fall below 2 bar, since a lower pressure will inevitably lead to
malfunctions （install pressure switch!）.
Silencers should not affect the proper function of the press safety valve. They should be fitted in accordance with the
local accident prevention regulations.
Control system: A safe control system meeting regulations EN 692 （Mechanical Press Safety） and EN 954-1 （Safety of
Machines...） is a basic requirement.
